On Saturday, March 20th, several members of Dorian Mirth had the amazing opportunity to meet cast members from three fabulous movies: Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) from Harry Potter; Sala Baker (Sauron) from Lord of the Rings; and Daniel Logan (young Boba Fett) and Ray Park (Darth Maul) from Star Wars.

The day was a splendid success and we met some truly fascinating people. Not only were the celebrities extremely cordial and approachable, but the “Harry Potter Parents” (parents of the Harry Potter celebs) were an absolute joy to talk to. We even got an incredible show at the end of the day by Sala, Ray and Daniel who were practicing their martial arts. Kudos to the 501st Legion for making the event truly memorable and to Rebels Associated who helped get us motivated to go in the first place.

Dorian Mirth would like to extend an enthusiastic welcome to its newest member, Liz!! Liz played with us as a guest musician at the Oscar Party, and we had so much fun we practically begged her to stay (okay, not ‘begged’ – she was actually excited to participate more permanently in our musical endeavors!). Thanks for joining us, Liz!
